Swim Lessons:

It's that time of the year again - time to pull out the flip-flops and count the days until Nomahegan opens for the summer. One of Nomahegan's greatest attributes is it's free swimming lessons. Half-hour swimming lessons are offered between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. We offer lessons for the very beginning swimmer to the experience swim team member. A brief description of the lessons is below:

b. Beginner 1 - for children who are comfortable in the water and able to follow the instructor's directions. Beginner Ones will work on learning freestyle, with proper arm motion, rotary breathing and kicking. They will start learning backstroke and will work on jumping into the pool independently.
